Travellers

If you wish to travel and experience the diversity of life, outback travel and paid work on a “real” Australian cattle station then our Farm Familiarisation Course is for you.   

We cover a variety of rural and farm activities including:

• motor bike and horse riding
• cattle mustering
• fencing
• 2 way radio procedures
• 4 x 4 vehicle driving
• basic maintenance. 

Successful course participants will be offered paid employment in rural areas all over Australia.

Employers/Property Owners

We offer all property/station owners, facing a shortage of rural labour in outback Australia, a resource pool of enthusiastic and capable employees. 

Your employees will have completed a 5 day intense familiarisation course on OutBackPackers’s working cattle property near Coonabarabran, NSW.  

All employees are assessed and graded by our trainers. Their newly acquired skills matched are then matched with the skills required by you.

Together with the skills they ahve learned from OutBackPackers and the experience and work they will gain from you will give them a most unique and memorable experience.
