Travellers

If you wish to travel and experience the diversity of life, outback travel and paid work on a “real” Australian cattle station then our Farm Familiarisation Course is for you.

We cover a variety of rural and farm activities including,  motor bike and horse riding,  cattle mustering, fencing, chainsaw use and safety, 2 way radio procedures and 4 x 4 vehicle driving and basic maintenance.  On completion of the course we guarantee you paid work and lots of fun.

Employers

We offer all property/station owners, facing a shortage of rural labour in outback Australia, a resource pool of enthusiastic and capable employees.

Your employees will have completed a 5 day intense familiarisation course on OutBackPackers’s working cattle property near Goomeri in South East Queensland.

All employeesare assessed and graded by our trainers and their newly acquired skills matched with those skills required by you. The information they have gained from us and what they will learn from you will make them a worthwhile member of your team.
