Happy New Year everyone!!

We hope everyone had a relaxing holiday with family and friends.
Our thoughts go out to anyone affected by the QLD floods, and if there is anything we can do to assist don't hesitate to contact OutBackpackers.

OutBackPackers is back on deck and charging forward into 2011.
The new year has brought new changes - we have moved to Coonabarabran, NSW and can't wait for our first intake on the 17th January.

December / January Closure

Employers:
With December fast approaching please keep in mind that the last training program for 2010 will commence Monday 6th December 2010 and the last working day will be Friday 10th December 2010.
The first training course for 2011 will be Monday 17th January 2011.

Should you be requiring staff over this period please contact Judy or Gay on 07 54428373 or students@outbackpackers.org before OBP goes on leave.

Alternatively should you require someone quickly during OBP's break, check out the PEL (Potential Employee List) on OBP's website.

Travellers:
Make a note in your diaries of the closure dates. If you think that you will be looking for work during that period, please contact the office early so that your details can be included on the PEL list.

We Are Back

Hi all, OBP staff are now back from their mid year break, batteries re-charged and looking forward to the next exciting 6 months.

Employers, do not forget to check out our website for potential employees. If you have forgotten your User Name and Password email Gay on students@outbackpackers.org and she will check your details, test access is functioning correctly, and then email confirmation to you.

Employers please note that we have changed our WebSite to make it more Employer friendly.
The front page now displays Work Experience and Skills.

Hi all, OBP is now back from it's mid year closure. We really enjoyed our holidays and our batteries are re-charged and looking forward to the next exciting 6 months.

WorkCover and Student Safety

All travellers with a working holiday visa are entitled to the same workplace conditions as Australians. Our travellers must be covered by your workcover schemes in the unfortunate event that they are involved in an accident.
We now also have an online Injury Report form (for OBP benefit only). This will only take 5 minutes of your time to complete and saves a lot of phone calls and emails from worried parents.
