Farm Familiarisation Program – Gold
 This program is designed for overseas travellers planning to join our program directly after arrival into Australia, who are equipped with a working visa!
This Program includes:
- Pick up/ free transfer from the Brisbane International Airport on a Thursday morning, for flights arriving prior to 9am.
- 4 night’s dorm accommodation at the Brisbane Backpackers Resort. This includes continental breakfasts each day.
- Concession priced sight seeing trips in and around Brisbane
- Help provided to open an Australian bank account, purchasing an Australian mobile sim card, applying for an Australian Medicare card (if eligible.) Help with having your visa stamped at the Australian Immigration Department and applying for a Tax File number is also provided.
- Free transfer from the Reception area of the Brisbane Backpackers Resort to our OutBackPackers Farm at 8:30am on Monday morning.
- 5 night’s accommodation at OutBackPackers Farm Hostel. All meals included.
- Free beer & wine provided after hours.
- A free long sleeved OutBackPackers work shirt and bush hat.
- 5 Days Farm Familiarisation Training covering the below topics;
- Quad Bikes Riding and Basic Maintenance
- Ag Bike Riding and Basic Maintenance
- Stock Horse Riding
- Tractor Driving and Basic Maintenance
- Rural Fencing Techniques
- Chainsaw Safety and Operation
- 4x4 Operation, off-road Driving and Basic Maintenance
- Useful Knots
- Cattle Mustering
- Cattle Yard Work
- 12 months worth of guaranteed paid job offers, on successful completion of the familiarisation program. (Subject to good references from our employers)
- OBP will book your travel to your place of employment on your behalf and provide you with a fully comprehensible travel itinerary. (The total cost of travel will need to be reimbursed by you prior to departure.) In instances where the applicant does not successfully complete the course, or wishes to accept a position at a later date, travel arrangements back to Brisbane can be arranged.
- Ongoing mail redirection service (for 12 month period)
- Help with planning your travel itinerary to any place of employment for 12 months
- Emergency assistance (for 12 months)

Farm Familiarisation Program – Silver
 The program was created for travellers who are already set up in Australia, but may be struggling to find work to count toward their second visa!
This Program includes:
- Pick up & free transfer from the Reception area of the Brisbane Backpackers Resort to our OutBackPackers Farm at 8:30am on Monday mornings.
- 5 night’s accommodation at OutBackPackers Farm Hostel. All meals included.
- Free beer & wine provided after hours.
- A free long sleeved OutBackPackers work shirt and bush hat.
- 5 Days Farm Familiarisation Training covering the below topics;
- Quad Bikes Riding and Basic Maintenance
- Ag Bike Riding and Basic Maintenance
- Stock Horse Riding
- Tractor Driving and Basic Maintenance
- Rural Fencing Techniques
- Chainsaw Safety and Operation
- 4x4 Operation, Off-road Driving and Basic Maintenance
- Useful Knots
- Cattle Mustering
- Cattle Yard Work
- Emergency assistance (for the duration of employment)
- Up to 3 potential positions to choose from on successful completion of the Familiarisation program. You will select one of these as your new position.
- OBP will book your travel to your place of employment on your behalf and provide you with a fully comprehensible travel itinerary. (The total cost of travel will need to be reimbursed by you prior to departure.) In instances where the applicant does not successfully complete the course, or wishes to accept a position at a later date, travel arrangements back to Brisbane can be arranged.
- Extra jobs are available for a small fee per position. (A good reference from your previous employer will be requested prior to contact details being passed on to you.)

Farm Stay Gold Program
 This program is designed for couples or friends (no age limit) who wish to experience life on an Outback property, whilst still enjoying the comforts of home.
This program Includes:
- Pick up/ free transfer from the Brisbane International/ Domestic Airport on a Saturday morning, for flights arriving prior to 9am.
- 2 night’s accommodation at the Birkdale Bed & Breakfast, located in the outer Brisbane bay side suburb of Birkdale. This includes continental breakfasts each day.
- Free transfer from the Reception area of the Brisbane Backpackers Resort to our OutBackPackers Farm at 8:30am on Monday mornings.
- 5 night’s accommodation in either a single, twin share or double room at OutBackPackers Homestead. All meals included.
- Free beer & wine provided after hours.
- A free long sleeved OutBackPackers work shirt and bush hat.
- 5 Days Farm Familiarisation Training covering the below topics;
- Quad Bikes Riding and Basic Maintenance
- Ag Bike Riding and Basic Maintenance
- Stock Horse Riding

 Designed for travellers (no age limit) who would like to experience life on an Australian Outback property, whilst still living traditional backpacker style!
This program Includes:
- Pick up/ free transfer from the Brisbane International Airport on a Thursday morning, for flights arriving prior to 9am.
- 4 night’s dorm accommodation at the Brisbane Backpackers Resort. This includes continental breakfasts each day.
- Free transfer from the Bed and Breakfast to our OutBackPackers Farm. Departs 8:00am on Monday morning.
- 5 night’s accommodation at OutBackPackers Farm Hostel. All meals included.
- Free beer & wine provided after hours.
- A free long sleeved OutBackPackers work shirt and bush hat.
- 5 Days Farm Familiarisation Training covering the below topics;
